Donna M. Faltin, Ph.D., leads The Faltin Group’s research and consulting services in the areas of finance, marketing, and economics, including: pricing, risk management, econometrics, and Six Sigma for Marketing/Innovation. Dr. Faltin has worked extensively with business leaders to initiate and lead strategic applications in these areas across a broad spectrum of domestic and international financial, service and manufacturing businesses.

Before co-founding The Faltin Group in 1999 and joining the business as Managing Director in 2003, she served for 7 years as GE’s Senior Economist, in which role she advised and supported senior GE leadership in designing innovative applications to finance, marketing, risk management, and financial performance monitoring. While at GE she received the company's prestigious Whitney Technical Achievement award for the development of novel Six Sigma applications to Financial Quality, and was one of the principal authors of GE's DFSS for Marketing curriculum.

Prior to joining GE, Dr. Faltin was professor of Economics and International Finance at the University of Florida ’s Warrington College of Business, where she taught and published in financial economics, pricing, and international economics. She took her B.S. in Economics in the honors program at the University of Oklahoma , where she served student internships with the U.S. Department of Justice and as a Congressional aide, and received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester . She has published recently on Target Costing and on the application of Six Sigma to the design of corporate financial monitoring systems.
